We have not been there for a few years and have decided to go in November.
I was look to stay at the Nautical.................but that weekend the have the river rainbow group festival. Not that I against this, but I dont think it would make for a "family" atmosphere. Anyway, I have searched thru some of the previous threads, but am still lost.
Any input would be appreciated........We will have 2 kids(12 and 14) and we want to be close to the water, and boats launch.
Thanks :)

jas0502,
The wife and i just stayed at the Queens Bay Condos Resort. They are very nice. Two bedroom Two Bath with Kitchen etc..
It is really easy to get to the boat launches only about 5 minutes away. It is a gated (coded) entrance so it isnt open to all the rift raft.

Hey cc322,
Where is your condo? How close is it to the marina or any other launch ramps?

Hey cc322,

Our condo is on Lake havasu ave, between mullberry and swanson, very close to the Ramada Inn. The closest launch ramp would be the city marina across McCulloch maybe less than a mile, we use windsor, maybe 1.5 or 2 miles If you need more info pm me and we can talk details

Here is the price for the Queens bay condos
city view 125.00 a night + tax
lake or channel view 150.00 + tax
and one other one for 175.00+ tax
You are responeable for daily cleaning but they will clean the unit when you leave.
My condo rents for 65.00 a night with a 75.00 cleaning deposit, returned on inspection, WOW I might be under priced a little, thier condos are 2bd 2ba mine is 2bd 1 ba, still a great deal imo. :D

Another alternative is the Nautical Estate condos managed by McCulloch vacation rentals. These are very nice and if you're with the Regatta that particular weekend ;) you'll get a discount. Should be less than $150 for a two bedroom unit with a small garage and gated access to the boat parking. The Estates are right next to the Marina. Talk to Jeanette Clayton at McCulloch vacation rentals.
P.S. Make sure if you try to launch at the Marina that your boat has mufflers/silencers if it is a thru-transom exhaust. If not you will be denied launch priviledges - see "pinned" threads on Noise and the Marina.
