That is correct Justin. The old school guys will argue that it should be facing forward. This is only wise if your guranteed to get and stay "in front". Unfortunately there are no gurantees in circle boat racing and not everyone can be in front. A good washdown can ruin your race and your $40 g bullet.

As much water is flying around, and with a nice big four-hole scoop, a bitchen huffer a-huffin on kill, it wouldn't take more than a cupful jammed in the right cylinder to hydraulic the bullet nicely.

I think right now he runs somewhere in the 70's but there is some left if he changes the gears and adds an intercooler. The boat is very clean though, and rigged with all the best componets

I think most people would agree, it takes a huge amount of HP and an agressive set-up to push one of those tubs into the triple digits. However I don't think there is any other boat out there of similar size that rides as well, but hey at least he can insure it! :) What's up with your boat, were you able to get insurance?

The boat is owned by "Schiada Be Runnin by Now" he's on the boards and I suspect he'll chime in on this thread pretty soon. Not sure what year it is, but I know it has a blown 468 and I am pretty sure he will be at the regatta.

Yea.. I know it takes a lot of HP to get those things going.. And I know they handle well.. But I’ve only really seen them get smaller when I leave them..lol
I got sorted on the Insurance.. I friend on put me under a manufacturing insurance deal. So I’m covered on anything I drive .. not only my boat.. and now its for 2 mil.. So I’m pretty happy..
