So what is considered a good deal on crewcab short bed LT 4x4 with the Duramax? I'd like to get an idea on what is considered a deal.

Is that supposed to make sense? The Duramax/Allison combo is around $4K or so+ as an option... thanks for the help.

Then why waste the keystrokes to type something like that? Just seems stupid to me... then again I don't drive a Ford and have all my teeth and my house isn't on blocks...
The guy asks a serious question and you give a bullshit answer? Why? I'm confused. Oh and I hate glocks. :p

Why waste your keystrokes? Oh I see, maybe you thought I would give a **ck. :p

You did enough to reply, even though you didn't care.
As far as an option, I'd figure best deal anywhere between $4-5K extra on it with the Allison as it's an included option with the Duramax. Your best bet, if your heart isn't set on new is to find one slightly used, with like 12K miles on it and run with it. That's what I did. Easiest thing I've ever done when it came to buying a truck. :D

Have at it TB. It's not an argument as only one side has anything useful to offer.
Then again, maybe he knows where to pick up a Duramax for $100 bucks. Although, I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that we're talking new truck options, not Flipped Over Reservation Decorations...
Your turn TB. :D

it will be hard to get a good deal right now....
that is a 40k plus truck.
I ran locate on them recently, very few 04's left in inventory and 05's are just starting to hit lots so nobody will discount them much.
You can prob get 2-3k off sticker not counting any rebates etc
