Not sure of the month, but ***boat released an edition that summarized most of the custom boat Mfg's. I know Bahner was in there. You might contact HB to determine which month it was and back order it.

Rod Bahner was best friends of Harry Christensen who owned Advantage boats. Rod got his start by splasing the 18' Rogers and he changed the deck and the tumblehome quite a bit , but the bottom was all Rogers.
He and Harry were heavy duty into circle boat racing among other things. In fact Harry raced a Bahner before building his own boats, again starting with the 18 Rogers. He (Rod)pissed off alot of people years ago and went into seclusion and resurfaced again to build some new boats. I heard through the grapevine that he, like Christensen, was murdered a few years ago.

I believe that John West at Ultra said he has several of the old Bahner molds.

I almost bought a Bahner before buying my Caribbean(the Bahner had a Reggie Jackson built 460 that was frozen). It was supposedly a 'Modified V' that was almost like a flat bottom. It looked like it would've been real slippery(fast).
If Ultra has some of those molds, they'd be smart to put some together. I, for one, would be interested in them.

I had all the Bahner molds at one time. Rod did do some jail time for drugs. He was known as one of the biggest scam artists in the industry. One of the only times I met him was in 95 when he tried to scam me. Last I heard he was found somewhere outside of Vegas on the side of the road. That rumour was started back in 97, I don't know if it's true or not.
