Welcome Back! I saw T&B's pics... looks like a great time was had!

We did a "mini" dam run up to Cottonwood for Brunch with RiverToysJason and.....................Oh, MAN, I am tooooo blonde, can't remember his friends name. I have pics of his boat...............Anyway it was beautiful, glassy on the way up after we blew past some lake lice. Had our "cheeseburger" brunch and then on the way back, hit some swells, 1-2 feet (because the wind came up) No big deal in our boat (did I tell you all How Much I LOVE my boat!?!) Awesome day. I backed the trailer down, saw Fufu Queen launching as well NoDig and some other fine folk! :D Essex Jeff? and Hootersled's wife?
Disclaimer: PLEASE do not be upset if I don't remember your name from this weekend. I tried really hard, but everyone's faces kinda got mixed up at the end. I would try to picture their avitar when I was introduced, to try to keep track, but, well remember..............I am blonde :D

Matt(Scream) and I drove out Friday arriving in Laughlin around 6pm. Gas up at the Mobil and head over the the Golden Nugget to check in. Our "crew" (Frank & Kelly) is waiting for us there. We check in, change clothes and head over to the "Sporting Woods" for a BBQ! We bring the boat in case Angie was able to secure a slip for us. As we arrive, Matt remembers he forgot the directions to their place. So we turn right into a parking lot, see some guys and one of them has a "smart ass" comment for us. I can't remember it now, but it was REALLY funny, It was Mandelon, Pup Tent and Sporting Wood. We sit down and drink and meet Jeep Scott and his wife Candy....Their friends. Pup Tent is Mandy's "crew" for the weekend. The Sporting Woods have their friends with them, Liz and her husband. (Liz looks JUST like Jenifer Anastin on friends) So we are drinking and BBQing and having a BLAST!! Then Mandy remembers he left his "date" in the car and goes to get her. She is a little plain but we spruce her up good! :D Dinner was excellent. I can't say enough about the "Woods" and how kind it was for them to open their "single wide" for us. :D I must say, we were shocked to see Mandy's date. Even more shocked when they began to undress her right there on the patio...........................(to be continued) :cool:

I just wanted to add that the wifey and I had a great time at our first OP6C :cool:
It started on Saturday morning a little after 1am...when we hooked up at Tarzans with the Frenchies and met PhattMatt & Goldilocks along with RTJas, SHOCKWAVETOM, NoDigg, Hustler, Fu-Fu Queen, and others for drinks and blackjack.
You know we had a good time when I asked SHOCKWAVETOM the next morning on the beach..."So, how late did you guys stay out? He said "late man, late" with a smile. I remembered later on that his sister actually gave me and Susie a ride back to the Edgewater in Tom's car! I was sitting right next to Tom!!! :D :D
I took a lotta picts of the beach party telling some peeps that I was 'earning rep points'. Well, I guess it just didn't work out. The camera had other plans and jumped right off the back of my boat and swam right to the bottom of Gasoline Alley :cry: Oh well :)
It was a sweet run after sundown with Boxscore, Force26, Frenchie, Scream & Debbolas, Dexman, RTJas, and Mandy. The lake was perfect.
I'm really glad I was able to meet so many of you. :cool:

It seems that a big church van full of peeps, towing a trailer just had to pass two big rigs around a blind corner. I had to scrub as much speed as possible on the pavement before I bailed off the road onto the soft shoulder to avoid a head-on collision.
It was great meeting everyone. Good times for sure. You know that you can't rent a car one way? Jeff, you have any more of that blue shit?

WOW, Looks like you guys had a blast. We were on lock down here for this last storm. Only had 40 to 50 MPH wind here in south GA. Florida got hammered for the 3rd time. Boat has not been wet for 8 weeks.

LOL :D Like I said, I know better too. I think we're all allowed to flounder once in awhile though. Sunday was a blast. We're definetely all gonna have to hook up again next year for sure. Dam Run, shoot I wish we could swing it. I have a buddy who we were actually supposed to go to Havasu with that weekend also. I think I spent to much damn $$$ at the end of this season. Time to look for a way to make more dough before next season, so we can partake in all these events more. You guys have a great time out there and be safe. We'll see ya when we see ya.

Tandi and I got home today at 4:00 pm, had a lazy day waking up around whenever, strolled to the dock to retrieve the boat from the slip and had an almost uneventful jaunt across the desert.
It seems that a big church van full of peeps, towing a trailer just had to pass two big rigs around a blind corner. I had to scrub as much speed as possible on the pavement before I bailed off the road onto the soft shoulder to avoid a head-on collision.
It was great meeting everyone. Good times for sure. You know that you can't rent a car one way? Jeff, you have any more of that blue shit?

Back to work now I took 4 days off for OP6 and gotta make it up!
