I had Allstate, but they cancelled my policy because my boat exceeded 65mph. Never had a claim or ticket. I was paying $505.00 a year.
Just started w/Progressive Insurance. $655.00 a year.

What kind of boat? that would help....
If it is a cat, try Devin Wozencraft in Tustin...or call Markel or Ace directly....if it is a V, their are many places you can go...
I have a 2004 cat that has 600hp and the premium is around 4100. Also, have a 2004 Malibu V Drive Wakesetter 23' the premium is around 800...All depends on how much the boat cost, your record, and boat type....my record is clean.....both are insured through Devin

Progressive is who I use for insurance on two of my boats. One is a v and one a cat. Now my hydro or picklefork I couldn't get anyone to insure. All I could get was vessil assist. Someone said something about some private company insuring it so that is what I will go with when the time comes.

Like Mbrown 2 says, it really depends on what type of boat you have. Some companies won't insure your boat if it has certain features (i.e. OT headers).

26 ft Cobra Razor 496 HO ... State Farm is telling us 500K liability, 500 deduc, 70K replacement, for $735 a year.
That does not sound to bad..... or does it.. I have no clue.

That sounds reasonable to me. If its not much more bump that liability up to 1million

bumping to 1M is probably a good idea. I will check into that for sure. Thanks for the heads up. I tried AAA but they put me on hold 3 different times then somebody picked up and said they would call me and I have yet to hear from them. I am a true believer in Customer Service.

I've gotten mine through the Broker "WestMar" for my 23'. About $600.
