23ft
On the small side then. That would help with the speed numbers.

I think alot of people are confusing the 21' Deckboat that Ultra builds with the 23' Deckboat.. They look very similar. To my knowledge that 23' in the picture above was the 1st one built, and they are currently in process of rigging several more. Don't quote me on that though.. Maybe one of the guys from Ultra can come on here and give us the scoop?

That looks nice! spoke with John this morning, some Guy is putting a 1300hp motor in one of these....WOW! thats crazy. John is building himself one with a V10 Viper motor in it......that would be pretty cool.

One of the hot new themes for deck boat building, smaller, lighter, lower, sleeker, faster! With fuel prices continuing to go out of sight, these things may be right on the market!

RD, the one I saw was definitely the boat pictured above...actually, I think the 21 and 23 look distinctively different on the water...The 23 is a very nice boat...definitely some for Parker with the Twin Jet setup....wonder what Insurance is on it...

Hey on the insurance question it's funny, I was just cancelled by AAA yesterday they consider it a pickle fork I received a quote from Allstate it was half the price I was paying a little over 1000.00 per year.

One of these boats with EFI Whipple 800 and twin jet might be a real fun boat...No drive breakage, and acceleration from hell, and sleeper under the hatch.....Sponsons look pretty deep for a 23 as well..

AJ,
Heads up with Allstate, we got Allstate through Ultra with our new 21 Stealth and switched Phuggit and his 23 Eliminator over because of the great price but a month later they dropped him saying their(Allstate) had a calculator that says his boat goes over 65mph. Not sure about you just giving the heads up, they signed him up then dropped him. :frown:
Sweet looking boat though, how's it ride in the chop? Looking at that deckboat for an upgrade in a year or two.

NICE BOAT! do you have any pics of the height of the motor cover? was talking with John, Guess they are playing with the "X" dimensions. A few have been mounted really high to top speed, with with high motor covers...where is yours? What out drive do you have with the H0? was the 525 that big of a price jump? Merc prices are out of controll IMO.....Thanks

AJ,
Your boat looks so good, I had to run down to Inland Ultra today at lunch at take a look in person at one. Very nice boat. Bob and John were telling there going like hotcakes and people are putting huge motors in them. Tom Papp's guys were rigging one for 1200hp blower motor and jet. Sorry I didn't have my camera. They did look a little shallow in the front seating area for me but I guess that's one of the trade offs.

I was out at Inland Ultra Friday and took some pics of the new 23 Deck boat. It is a very nice piece indeed! They price around $62,500. If you are interested in the boat just call John D and he'll tell you anything you need to know. I also thought the new showroom was pretty tight and the location couldn't be better.

Also saw Big Proppa's boat at Tom Papps shop. It's going to be a nice ride when restored and that motor is realy going to make it move some water. Good seeing you again Bill.
Sigepmock, was that you picking up your 21xs at Tom's. If so we briefly talked outside his shop.
