Question - My side rubber bumper rail is turning off-white. my rail guard has screws every 6" inches and is not the type that slides in the rail. Before I change it does anyone know how to make it bright white again. does acetone work.....

Try Mr. Clean Eraser. It works great for me... They are an amazing sponge that removes stains from almost anything. You can get them at Home Depot, WalMart, or grocery store..

I tried the Mr. Clean Eraser, and the screw holes along the rub rail just tore it all up. What works for me is the Shark Tower cleaner/wax from Warock25, but I'm sure any cleaner/wax would work great.

SoftScrub will do the trick. Guaranteed.
Use one of those green scrub spunges.
It'll look good as new.

I agree with Waldo (acetone) that's what we use when we detail customers boats, it's fast and easy too..

Any hardware store (home depot, ace, lowe's) etc.

Lacquer Thinner will work just as good.
