I went. Not that many boats but still some bad ass machines out there. I know the red & gray DCB FX-29 was first to the springs. That thing frickin hauls ass.

I was there but they all just passed my a ss like I was standing still, it was awesome to be passed by all these guys :rollside: but too rolly to get any good pix. My crew was cracking up big time cuz there were two aluminum fishing boats on the CAli side accross from Steamboat...those guys' eyes were as big as silver dollars as they seen all the 100+ mph rigs comin' right at them :eek: :eek: :eek:

We went....and Pegged was Haulin A$$ down and passed Pammie...however, Pammie had let off....when Pammie was on the Gas, he was pullin Pegged, but Pegged was kicking some serios tail on the way down.
Saw Phat Matt/waved, Saw Chris Gibbons boat was running in front of him so could not wave, and saw JBtrailerjim's boat but did not realize it was his boat until now seeing his avitar...pretty good run, but the weather could not be beat....just absolutely gorgeous..

We went not as cool as the Heat Wave poker run was expecting a DVD like last year but it didn't happen. Gibbons cool hanging out!!!! Boat ran great thanks to the boys and girl (REA) at Pfaff. Gibson boys were there Shaun broke a drive though. Burned 180 gallons of gas just doing the poker run (missed on of the stops and had to go back) ran out of gas comming back from sand bar just as the helicopter picked us up (luckily still had about 20 gallons in the reserve tanks) so cut our day short on Saturday.

Definitly perfect weather and a fun run. I know next year will be twice as big and will be quite the party. Want to say thanks to Darren at ***boat, Dano at Force, Todd from Jokers wild, and everyone who made it a fun trip. Also it was good to finally meet the Havasu Cigs. Mr. Cig. Thanks for letting me borrow your wife I had a blast. Oh yeah also a big thanks to Aaron at speed marine for having my boat in tip top shape. As far as the run goes The dcb guys did great. I would have been right there with them if I didnt get a late start behind all those damn V's as it stands though I was fourth to the pin! Fun time for sures! Oh yeah I think the first boat that arrived was my buddy Tony in the pace boat...I thought the pace boat was supposed to take it easy! :D

If I did it wasn't for very long. My big heavy V had a smooth ride but I got smoked. (I think I had the heaviest boat)

We were there. Had a blast. No there was not as many boats but watching everyone haul a$$ past copper canyon was SWEEEEEET!
We met the dude w/the F29 boat, cool guy. Tight ride!
PHOTOGLOU, we wre running w/you up to the sandbar in the Tiger on Saturday. That was a fun run. You're boat looked great.
The only negative was we got the boot from the channel as we were cruising through. Too long. :rolleyes: And when we put the Tiger on the trailer on Sunday the Ranger told us Wyndsor would soon be going the route of the main marina in regards to not letting any "loud" boats on the lake.

Deano, looked like you running fast and making up ground....saw your boat at LBR around 5:30 and did a couple loops to see if you were around, but no sight of you...next trip up is two weeks; hopefully the weather will be as perfect..

Hey Huff, The 30htm was doing pretty good. I passed a 34 magic and the 30Htm right past steamboat.

I got roosted right at the start. Someone cut over from the left side and trimmed up directly in front of me. I wasn't even on plane yet and it about ripped me out of my seat. It made me run harder all day trying to catch him (not like I could have).
My girls didn't have as much energy to play with your daughter as they did at the spring run. She was such a cutie bringing the popcorn over for them. My youngest thought she was cool for the rest of the weekend after winning the shade canopy.

No doubt Deano was running it hard.
We were past Black Meadows on the left side and saw Pegged come by just smokin! Then the Skater and DEano was right there looking like he was getting ready to make a move on the skater. Good times defenitly.
Dean thanks for the ride to the sand bar. That Force definitly runs good. I have alot more respect for them now!

It was great to see all the high performane machines running trimmed out. I saw the Skater back off and then Pegged came up on him. I am not sure if he had a problem or just backed off.

I am starting to wonder! I arrived at 1am saterday night from ventura. Filled up and was on the water at 9am on sunday. I didnt see a fricking sole from the boards out there?? I dont know if I am looking in the wrong places or what. Do you guys and gals really go out there? What boats are you in??

We were out there also. Just got home about 6:00 tonight. It was great to meet Phat Matt and Goldilocks. OG, and Warlock 25 it was good to see you again. Met Chump Change and get this, ran into LaveySabre575 who turned out to be a guy I went to school with, Funny how that works. Sbullit, yelled at you and I think you heard? Anyway, we had a great spot across from steam boat and have 2 excellent pictures of Gibson and some skater flying by. Will post when I get them tomorrow.

What a fun time! This last weekend is what boating is all about. Thanks to Darren and crew from Hot Boat for putting on a great event!!! What a way to finish summer boating! The London Bridge Resort docks looked like a Hot Boat Show with eye candy everywhere. It was great seeing you all there at Friday and Sat. nights party and afterwards at Kokomo's, closing it down, while watching our women cage dance. Pegged, you were haulling ass! We were about a half a mile away from the Springs card stop and you blew by us in the opposite direction heading to card stop #2, all alone and way ahead of everyone else. Photoglou, you got me after Black Meadow Landing for the #1 V Bottom to the Springs. It was good to see you again, next time we will have to have a few drinks together and catch up on the shop talk. Can't hardly wait to do the next Hot Boat event. I am sure it will grow and keep getting better!!!

I had a great time up there this weekend. Such a good time that I finally made it back to work today. Runnin it Hard I guess.
I got some great footage on my video camera at the start and all of the boats running past SteamBoat. Unfortunately, I don't know how to upload anything and none of you will ever see it. But had a great time. Lookin forward to the dam run now.
