Yeah, I already know that this is not for eggbeaters, but their is no one in that forum. I need to trade or buy longer lower units for these motors. Coming off 1971 chaparel on to a cat boat. The problem is that the Chaparel has 20" transom. Any ideas. How far do i have to go back for them to work, ie. jack plate?

Havasu, I think this will work if I had 8 more inches of jack plate. About 4 inches now. That was with 25 shafts. 8 more should get me there? Or 6? Not looking for speed. This will be a test boat for our electronic software. GPS, DGPS,etc. Just get us out and in.
