i've been having problems getting there too. Too bad they were having a good discussion on where to take you boat to have work done. maybe they can use some of that "magic" they never talk about over there to get it up and running again. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

And here is why..
March 15, 2001
Dear Valued Customer:
Due to recent flooding and bad weather, our ISP facility in Dallas has
been damaged. As a result your web site is temporarily down. We are
working around the clock to repair the servers and restore your service.
In an absolute worst-case scenario these repairs may take a few days.
Let me stress again that we are working at this moment to rectify the
situation.
As a result of this incident we will be moving our ISP facilities to a
new Internet partner company with a more secure location.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. I will keep
you updated and notify you just as soon as the repairs are complete and
you‚re web site is back up and functioning.
I appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
Murray Smith
President

Geez! It feels like the RJB message board has been down a year! :-| My patience are also wearing, but, I have been getting alot of yard work done lately........ Hang in their fella's! Eric, Thanks for the info, keep it coming. I'd love to have a dedicated site, but for now, it's all free bee's! (I'll explain it another time). During this time of limbo, I like what ya all are doing here helping out the vulnarable newbies and all. Keep up the good work and get ready with the great idea's!!!!!

Weelllllll.
I submitted my information to the company multisure.com who claim to insure jet boats. I was perfectly honest with them and gave them all the info they wanted. That was last week and I haven't recieved a quote yet. Still waiting. I'll post the results when I get em.

I've heard nothinn'. I wonder if the programmer types don't work there anymore. Could be that no one is left that knows how to fire the things up. I know a few companies that are in the same boat. Not uncommon in the geek industry.

It seems to me that 123 is history. Now, I don't want to step on anyone's toes and I also don't want to volunteer anyone elses time, but let me plant a little bug. There is a site called yahoo!groups that might fit the bill as a replacement for 123. I don't know much about administering such things, but this looks free, easy to set up and pretty robust. Sound too good? Maybe it is, like I said I don't know much about this stuff.

I don't know much about establishing a message board either, is a matter of money to repair/correct the old board......if so I'be more than happy to ante up my share.
