Just talked to Gary on the phone at CFW. The water has come up 21ft. since Friday. There is about 3 to 4 ft. of water in the cove as I speak. Also Gary would like some information on how to set up timing lights for bracket races this summer! Need to know the distance for the lights on the top end.

We'll be there for bracket races at CFW if they have them....
BBT, the house boat at CFW is now floating, water is up 21ft.

Hud, that's sure good news. smilespi .With the projected rainfall it should be up there near capacity. eek! ..The big trick is going to be Stopping it for a few days Before NYD. wink .
That bracket racing sounds great, Maybe for "Father's Day" would be nice..Should make for even bigger turnouts..Hopefully, the cove will be off limits to jetski's & skiboats..and become alittle more organized..... thanks for the update HUD..... :cool: :cool:

Sangster, Gary would like some input from you racers. He has a guy with the lights and timers, just need to know how to set it all up. Yes the south side of the lake would be for race boats only. Gary will go the distance with a little help from the racers.

I've seen CFW water level raise and lower again an acre foot..in 24hrs.. that's movin' alot of water....Well, more than most jets...

I was working in Lincoln Thursday and had a few minutes to spare, so I took a quick trip on up to CFW. The cove definitely has water in it, although not quite enough to run side by side in. Another 20'-30' of water and we'll be running side by side in the cove.....And it was raining while I was there and continues to rain now.. :D
Only problem was, when I opened the door on my work truck (Chevy S-10) the wind was so strong up there that it caught my door and threw it open hard. Snapped the hinge in half and dented up the door between the door and fender. DAMNIT! More $$ that ain't going into the boats... frown

Hoss, it's not quite as bad as the pictures make it look. The main body of the lake is in good shape.
Sangster and Hud, I guess I got there between you guys - around 1pm. I guess the BBT's had a fair number of visitors. As I was driving back around on my way out, some one had just pulled up in a red Thunderbird.
The lake side looks real good. I was there last Tuesday and made a burn or two. It's up at lea :D st 30 ft. from then. Rain or shine I'm burnin some fuel!!
