Nice work, that will be a very mean looking machine. It looks like she has a very good home. I'm looking forward to taking a ride in that GW. It looks like you should be ready for the start of the '05 boating season.

Hear a few more of after I got the motor set and I only had to cut the mounts 2 diffrent times I figured it would take more tries. The back mount was copied but changed from the motor mounts Roger use to use in the R and D express(Cheyenne). And the front was copied off a mount Roger had in a gullwing years ago it was very rough in fact so bad Roger said just keep it,the mount I made looks nothing like it but it was great for bolt hole placement.http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/2006benggul.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/2006engsdgul.jpg

Looking good Jake!!! I like the black also.
How far did ya set the pump back?
Keep up the good work :D

esabataj,my transom does not have any wood in it,it was about 3/8 thick glass and I laminated more glass to it untill it was about 1/2 to 5/8 thick then I set the intake back as far as I could with out breaking through the hull. Now hear is where things are diffrent from the standerd,my intake was machined by MPD and has had the very back lip where the bolt holes are cut off wich intern inables you to set it back about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch further with out breaking through the hull than with a intake with out this done.So my kell in the back is only about 3/16 pice of glass so I guess you could say it is 3/16 away from being flush with the back of the hull.I think but not sure ,I cut the hole back about 2 1/2 inches or so further back then it was.My motor looks far up because I have a Jetaway and a split H bar cupler in case I want to move the motor up in 1/2 to 2 inch by adding a spacer to it.Jim Brock hooked me up with this cupler for a good price they do not sell them any more.
Thanks SThunder

Thanks Todd it's not perfect in any way, by I am glad I had the experience of doing it my self. And I could justify buying a SATA gun that I can buy a smaller needel and tip to shoot the trailer with.
