$2.09 @ Costco, $80 to fill up my suburban. One Mobil station was at $2.17 on Wednesday morning. Same station was $2.26 Wednesday afternoon. Same station was at @ $2.34 on Thursday afternoon! There is no way his cost has gone up in less than 48 hours to justify a $.17 increase! :220v: :hammerhea

That's another thing that gets me. They raise the price of gas then some of the pumps automatically shut off at 50 bucks. What's with that. :hammerhea

$2.15 for diesel here in Mesa, AZ and the stinking pump shuts er down at $48.00. Then, I have to walk in, wait in line, start the process over again, walk back in, pay the $10 more, walk back out, and have wasted 15 minutes doing all that nonsense.

I hate when the pump shuts down @ $50. Especially when I am pulling the boat and I need a full tanks of gas.

I think the economic hit the US is taking from oil prices is the worst thing happening to us (other than the Iraq war and the war on terror).
There's so much BS about China using more oil, the hurricanes affecting the US production, when the main reason for the oil going up is the speculators. They're the ones driving up the prices. And the oil companies run their peons out to the gas station signs raising prices almost daily.
The $64,000 question is why do prices go up so much and so quickly and fall so slowly?
We're screwed and I really feel sorry for the elderly and those on fixed income who live in states where they depend on heating oil and natural gas to get through the winter.

Only bad news is you have to be a Sams Club member... but it is generally 10c/gallon less than the lowest I have seen around here..

On topic though...
I'm just glad I have a short drive to/from work, I can fill up my PSD and drive it about a month w/o a fill up, unless of course I go to the river.
The prices don't reflect the actual oil market, they're sticking us all in the ass

Well these prices should make the raising gas price at Beaumont Gas and Diesel bearable. I got good rep points and raised my rep so price is back to $1.31 a gal. Sorry.
I am soooo glad I haven't had to pay for gas in 5 years. The only fuel I buy is VP. My Co. foots the bill on the Chevron card. It would suck at 10 MPG.
