But Dave treated me pretty well and I think the finish of his boats is second to none. :argue:
He has been very good to me in the process of buying and I hear they all take care of you after the fact as well.
He has a 26 down there. Green and yellow. Teague 740 with a built drive. He is making really good deals in the off season.

What do you want to know...I have owned the I/O 26 Open Bow and Outboard F26 Open Bow....They are awesome boats, no weird traits, pack air, turn flat, run fast with nominal horsepower, flawless rigging (Checkout my gallery...pics of mine and several other members boats getting rigged)...
Pretty much a great direction to go...
Infact do a search on this forum for the 2002 for sell. That boat is Dennis26's...it is in flawless condition, open bow like you are looking for...great price, and you can tell your insurance agent you have a 502 and get the cheap insurance for it...heck that whipple on their looks like part of the stock package...I even sent my insurance a photo of the engine when I owned that boat...Great deal and beautiful colors..

Thanks alot.. I really like the boat. I have GPS'd the boat at 90mph. I did not want to take it faster as i had the wife and kids in it.. I am still getting a feel for it. I also have the smaller pullys on it so I am only pushing 1000hp. I am trying to get the pullys from Teague so that next year I can swap back and forth for fun. Boat does run VERY solid and has NO bad traits. My engine compartment is insane and the work these guys do amazes me!!

DCB is the best boat in that size range you can't go wrong. I had one and loved every minute of building it, owning it and driving it. Dave is a first class guy and his boats are right there with him. The Mach 26 is one hell of a boat. The only thing you should be thinking about is colors and power. Do yourself a favor and go big on the drive and power, that boat likes to haul ass!

There is, was a nice 2000 22 closed bow DCB in the showroom, 700hp Riollo motor NA in it, i shopped it, just hard to insure that thing. Nice boat, im sure they would cut a hole in the bow for you...

Picture was complements of Tobtek on a very cold December day...it is an 03 with about 70-80 hrs on it. The wife and I are still :argue: about if we should sell, so we'll need another day to discuss.

Nice looking boat. However my BOSS said she prefers our Mach 22 (2003 was the one made after Tobtek's).
It is a great boat, but only 92-93 on GPS looking for triple digit, someday maybe when I grow up.
Thanks for the pic.

hey there.....Does yours have the big stripe down the middle? Light lay-up single 300x sold by BoatMaster???? If so, I remember that one! Keep your eyes and ears open for someone that may want one like yours. Mine is in DCB's showroom right now forsale. Toby

Yes that's the one. Love the boat, but have been thinking of going to a 26 with dual 300X's. The wife does not care, but storage is the problem my 22 barely clears going in the garage and I know a 26 would be two tall. Maybe I'll redo the garage!!!

I've a got a 26 open-bow. But I did a walk-thru instead. It probably scrubs a 2-3 mph's off the top end, but I love how much more comfortable the boat is. Give it some consideration.
