IHBA racing on TNN!!!!

I just saw a commercial on TNN advertising IHBA drag boat racing. The ad stated that it would start on May 5 at 10:30 AM here on the east coast. It didnÂ’t elaborate as to where the race was from or if this will be a weekly series. The ad did mention about five classes that would be aired. This is good news since Speed Vision or whatever the hell they call themselves doesnÂ’t have it anymore.

Oh yes,When I was at firebird for lakefest they were announcing the same thing.Tnn will show lakefest on may 5th and if I can remember correctly may 14th @ 10:30 am.

if you go to ihbaracing.com you will find the tv schedule for the dragraces on tnn, and speed channel; yes speedchannel is still showing some races from last year

In the TV ads for the boat racing they mention 6,000 hp. It that what a NItro motor makes these days?

Maybe its the same 6 boats they put in all the commercials at 1000hp each. You know how it is, some announcers just don't have a clue. Hell, you should hear the idiot that sponsors/ announces the mud bog races here. My 6 year old could do better.

BTW, Tom Papp's boat, (#250) "ME" class, took runner up at the IHBA Lakefest in Pheonix. At least I think it was his boat?
