Tito hasn't beaten a good Fighter since he beat Ken Shamrock, and that was to be expected. That was 3.5 Years ago. His last fight 14 Months ago, against a washed up Vitor Belfort was very close, and could have gone to Belfort. I think he may have some rust, and could get KO'ed

I agree w/ most of you. However, I think that Tito will find his way through Forrest. I think Tito will take him down. Hes a much better Grappler and its sounds like his training in Big Bear will give him the lungs to last this one out.
I have extra tickets for anyone that needs them.

Not so true.
He beat.
1. Funaki (twice)
2 Bas Rutten
3. Alex Cook
4. Maurice Smith
5. Dan Severn (in his prime)
6. Royce Gracie (draw. In his prime)
7. KIMO
8. Takahashi
9. Yamada
Not one of these guys is a turd.
I will say that Ken was broke down when Tito beat him. I would not take anything away from Tito. Dana White is is giving Forrest a fight of his career. It might be a little to early for Forrest to have a fight this big.

Diaz I think is gonna be very angry this fight.. I talked with him Sun morning after his fight with Joe "Diesel" Riggs (I bearly recognized him!he looked like Shamrock after Tito) He was very humbled and approachable, He couldnt believe he lost that fight. I didnt tell him I was the one yellin "BEAT HIS ASS JOE!" lol I told him I couldnt believe he knocked out Lawler, didnt think it could be done!!
Jeff Monson was very cool too,ver calm humble and approachable I thanked him for beatin Brandon Lee Hinkle's ass in 57 (Hinkle needed his ass handed to him) Love the way he woke up after the choke and said "what happened?"lol love it!
I cant wait for this card!(event)

Gotta take Arlovsky and Tito. Syvia's only chance is to land a punch or kick and K/O Arlovsky, if not he'll get worked.
I'd like to see Forrest win but I just don't believe he has the skills to stop Tito from having his way with him.

I agree that Hughes has the strength advantage, I also agree that he has the age advantage. But remember Gracie is younger than Randy Cotour (Look how much he has done), he has his own form of brazalian Jiu Jitsu and is by far the stronger grapler... The guy is a master at what he does and I believe that the second the fight falls on the ground (and it will) gracie will be in full control. The only way that I can see hughes winning is if he gets that lucky shot in. Hughes wont win the fight on the ground or by submission. It doesnt matter how strong he is... But either way its going to be a hell of a fight...I will be in havasu since its over Memorial day weekend but Im going to tivo it for sure........

Tito won that fight, soley based on that first round, I thought Forrest would be a goner in the first round, he took a ROYAL ass whooping. The second round was Forrest, but he did not do anything impressive, not nearly as impressive as Tito in the first round. The 3rd round swayed to Tito. You have to give Forrest credit though, he took a pounding.
Sylvia won fair and square, to take a hit like he did, then get up and fight back, is amazing. He wins just based on that.
Diaz was lame, he is a lame ass with a lame attitude too.

What a night of great fights!! Tito won that fight plain and simple, gotto give a lot of credit to Forrest he did pretty well but he was outmatched in the standup he kept throwin but not anything real good (i wouldnt want to catch one though) He has a great chin.. And Sivia, man i thought he was down and out we were all on our feet when he went down then he recovered and caught AA and put him down!! I couldnt believe it! wow big credit to Tim for the recovery and then the knockout! I tend to like the humble no excuse makin fighters so it hurt to see AA hit the floor like that! Then fowkin Tank Abbot tried to run me over as he pulled out of a handicaped spot, What a Dick!

Does anyone else feel that Herb Dean called a TKO way to early on the Arlovski and Silvia fight???? He still did have is left hand up blocking but 3 seconds into that part of the fight it was called....I think it should have went a little longer...especially since it was the main event and title fight.....Arlovski could have possibly got out of it.

At first sight, I thought it was the right call. It looked like AA was out and Silvia was just pummeling his temple. But then they showed the other camera angle and you could see AA had put his hand up trying to block (don't know if it was helping). I think that McCarthy would have let the fight go on a little longer to see if AA could have recovered. Either way a couple of big bombs landed.

I counted 6 hits to AA's head once he was down on the ground and they all looked like good clean shots. I think it could have gotten ugly had it gone on so IMO it was a good stop.

I don't think it was a good call. Arlovski was up on his elbows and started blocking the hits. To much of a snap decision I think. Rematch time. And Silvia just got rocked right before that.

The problem was that AA didnt do much to protect himself when he was down. He just layed there. Also being the first UFC sanctioned fight in Calif, they were not going to have any mishaps. THe California boxing federation had all eyes on last night. They will fight again.
Whats BS is that the media stays numb to UFC. No TV coverage or Newspaper press as far as I saw. With this sport going to a higher level you would think that they would have at least something out there. When spike TV's UFC ratings are on the level of "survivor", you would think it would get mentioned. Still nothing.
Nick Diaz is going to fade away. SHerk dominated him. After the decision Diaz walked around with a look on his face like there was no way he lost. His days of flipping off the Camera and disrespect will cost him (IMO).

If you look at a differant angel only 3 got in, and as soon as it was called he was looking up and got up, he wasn't that hurt at all, it was going so fast the ref, was even moving in so he could get a better view but it at one point looked real bad and i think the Reff, saw like that to and called it but if you realy look at it from all sides he wasn't that bad i think he was going to roll out, who knows but a re-match is in order.

When your laying face down on the ground, with a guy as big as Sylvia taking clean shots at the side of your head, your not getting up.
