Brent and Bill,
100mph Spectra 20 Jet? 1200HP might just about do it :) From what I can remember about Brent's motor build, he's got the cubes over Bill, and probably more blower too? Proppa, sell the nordy to get the $$ to setup that 20 right. Sorry I couldn't be out at the river this past weekend, but some good business opportunities were brewing and my interest were better served by working. Let us know if you plan on going out again and we can hook up.

For sure chris - we should be heading out to pyramid on the weekend of the 23 if you guys want to go.
As fas as the motor goes, it's a 468 with a 671. I will concentrate on the pump and blueprinting the bottom the maybe add a bigger blower.

Sorry to Hijack the Nordic thread :) I'd dump the $$into the pump and setup before the motor/blower. get that thing setup with a rideplate/shoe setup, run a 2 degree back cut shoe for starters, short droop and diverter. Set plate between 2-4 degrees up and you will be trucking along a lot dryer than you are now. Remember on the pump..... Grab your dyno sheets before you select impeller size. You'll probably end up with a smaller impeller and a dps to get that motor to the r's where it made its peak power. Then look at how much HP it makes at the upper RPMS and see if its worth chasing them by cutting things down. And color sand that pinstriping off :D
Might be able to do a lake trip on the 23rd. I don't love Pyramid and I don't know how they feel about blower motors up there (last time I was there they were up in my shit on a closed hatch setup with a single carb. Definitely not fast, but it was a little loud. But I definitely want to run my pig a little to get some #s. Pyramids elevation is kind of a bummer but its not the end of the world.
Talk to you later,
Chris

I saw that flatbottom Rodgers dragstar (other flat with da nozzle) at bako. Looks like they put the engine in the wrong boat! I bet the long deck would have ran much better.
