I need to adapt the #10 AN fitting to go connect where the 3/8" nipple is on the fuel pump....is that possible?

you just need a -10 x 3/8" NPT fitting

Where is that 10an line coming from? And why so big of a fuel line? The ID of a 10an line is .5". Generally you want to keep your fuel lines the same size as the inlets/outlets of the fuel pump. But in this case all it would take for you to do that is remove that 90 elbow off the hose and use a hose clamp at the fuel pump.

As mentioned you don't gain much using a big hose with a small fitting size (fuel pump appears to be 1/4" NPT or equivilent size inverted flare). :)

First buy a better fuel pump they sell a holley that is mecanical that has a 3/8 pipe inlet then get a 3/8 to -10 fitting and put it togeather.it is better to run a -10 line to the fuel pump if you are running dual tanks or something like -8 from both tanks and -10 where they come togeather.I am sure you can buy a reducer if you are dead set on using that pump but you will have to take that fitting out to see what size the thread is.

why do you need such a big line for ??

Side tankes suck to get gas to the mecanical fuel pump so the more gas you can get in the line to them the better.Just think the boats moving side to side back and fourth the gas has to come out of both tankes to a Y or a T then travel to the pump.

ya know the more I look at that pic the more I think the fitting is going to hit the motor plate. Look at how the barb fitting is comming out kinda angled towards the mounting plate. Is a big -10 tube 90 hose end gonna clear?

Super d if he gets a new pump they make one that you can turn the bottom part with the inlet fitting. On my rail kit it will hit so I am going to get the one I am refering to.

Good question it might be a 1/2 instead of 3/8?The one I have now is a holley and it has a 3/8 on it I will look it up.

I'm a fan of the Clay Smith pumps. I'm going over there today and can get you the ford scoop on them if you want.

The one that says it is adj is a holley part number HLY-12-460-13 for a big Ford and it is 3/8.
It looks like the Edelbrock have a 1/2 inlets and out lets.

If you choose the edlebrock be careful on the 460.I bought one and the inlet and outlet are 180 degrees apart. If you have a front motor plate its very difficult to get them both to clear.Make sure you have multiple ports to choose from, some pumps have 3 in 3 out plug the rest.

Some one said something about using a 90 on a fuel line. that`s a big no no! If you have to use anything do it on 45`s :220v: <--- I just like this face
