That sure looks like Bass Lake!! My son pouted for 20 minutes when I would'n't let him ride that very swing. While we sat anchored and watching the other guys do it, a rather "large" teenager gave it a try. Other kids had done it successfully and it did look like fun....
This guy lost his grip and came off the rope too early. He skidded down the rocky root covered slope on his stomach and chest......almost made it to the water. He stood up and was obviously in pain and looked well "raspberried" all over.
My son quit whining and then understood about parental wisdom.......at least for a little while. :notam:
