gelled or paint?

what kind of work is involved in gelcoating a boat? VS painting ?
pros/ cons?

Try a search. This topic has been covered in super detail. Bottom line-Gel is a lot of work, but is far more durable than paint. If you have kids or stupid drunk friends that like to walk over your boat with sand on their feet, go with gel.

I did mine in paint and damn sure wished I went with gel .

paint is great for trailer queens. gel is the way to go if you actually plan to use your boat. :messedup:

gell is the way to go ..its alot more work but well worth it in my eyes and in most cases its cheaper...
