Fuel cooler

Does anyone run one?
I was told when I build my new fuel system to install one.I will be running an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and a boost refrence/return regulator feeding dual carbs.I was told to install the cooler in the return line because the pump will heat up the fuel and this will keep the temps down and help the pump last longer.

When I redid my engine that past winter, I added a fuel cooler to it but mine is fuel injected. Mine is after the fuel regulator in the return line that goes back to the fuel filter. It is supposed to keep the return fuel cool and help with any vapor locking.
