View Full Version : The majority of nations like Kerry

I am curious what is thought about the polls that show most of the world favors Kerry over Bush. The exceptions being Russia and Israel. I noticed that those countries with the most problems with muslim terrorists are behind Bush, while the more they provide weapons to Arab nations, or the more socialistic they are, the more they favor Kerry (France).

They dislike Bush for the simple reason he will make them do what they say..Also the Oil for corruption scam has the UN Annan and his lackeys running for cover. Screw them!

Thats all well and good, but the presidents job is too keep the US safe, not suck up to all the little peon countries out there.
I personally believe that all these little countries that keep voting against us in the UN, should no longer be given money to fix their sh*t when a natural disaster strikes. Should help to take care of the deffecit :2purples: and gain us some friends in the UN :eat:

Good post Hippy. :D
It's not the job of our president to be popular. It's his job to look out for our intrests, even if that means pissing off some other nations.

I like your point. I'm also all for pulling our troops out of countries like Germany and what ever other place we have them stationed from the Cold War. If those countries aren't willing to step up to the plate to keep USA safe from terrorist. We don't need to have our troops on there soil living, renting houses off base, etc... supporting there economy. They need to be stationed where they are required.

No, it isn't. It's the one where the UN, Kofi Adnoid, the flithy frogs, Germany and the Russians were paid by saddam to stonewall the US. The frogs (Kerry's pals) and the russians were also selling them billions of dollars worth of arms. You won't get this information watching SeeBS and Dan Blather.
What is with you liberal nitwits and Halliburton?
Why was it ok for klintoon to award no bid contracts to Halliburton but not the Bush administration?
Just answer one question, concentrate, do some research, take your time BUT ANSWER THIS QUESTION.
Just what fkgn company SHOULd have been awarded the contracts to rebuild an entire country????????????? A frog compnay? German? Russian? Chinese???????????
There just aren't that many companys in the world for the job. For fcks sake Bechtel wasn't even up to the task they do different things. Although Bectel DOES have no bid contracts in place also.
Also note, for you simple minded liberals, it's no bid for a reason. How Fckn long do you think it would take to BID the damn thing out? Twenty years?
liberals are scum :220v:

I wish Bush would talk like this during the debates...
It is not our Presidents job to make us good in the eyes of the world. We need to be sure our interests are taken care of and that our safety is considered and handled.
We don't go around and take over other countries even though we could but we just try to get along in the world.
This is yet another reason NOT to vote for Kerry.

The silly Halliburton stuff does get very annoying and tiresome. I expect it from the left wing anti-capitolists and the super far right wing anti-internationalist crowds (you know, the types of nuts you see throwing rocks at world trade conferances) but from a normaly bright demographic, like these boards tend to attract, it is a bit disconcerting and it demonstrates how well propaganda works...
Dick Cheney knows enough to run a huge energy related firm like haliburton. But we should not let him influence energy policy. We were somehow better off with a rube (Al Gore) who knows nothing about the subject (his book Earth In The Balance proves that) and who's major financial mentor has been Occidental Petrolium (George Magizine) as VP. Go figure......

At this point in history it's a paradox. Because, it's used to identify people who are the opposite of what the word actually means.

I am not trying to start a full blown flame war here, but out of curiosity, let's suppose for a second that nobody was questioning whether or not we needed to go into Iraq. Let's say that Bush just told everyone that Saddam needed to go for his genocide, consistent disobeyance of the UN sanctions, for sponsoring terrorism and for cutting off the inspectors. Let's say America agreed, and we went in.
Who would you hire to fill the place of Halliburton in this situation? As a nation looking to rebuild another nation, a nation with pretty serious natural resources which would render it prime pickin for attacks for control. Let's also suppose you need to do a lot of structural repair from years of sanctions and war. You need to build an infrastructure, and you need a company that has the depth and experience neccessary to do the job.
Who would you hire? To the best of my knowledge, Halliburton is the best and most respected name in this industry.

That could very well be but I thought we were talking about sanctions and how Cheney and halliburton vilolated them and still made money in oil when no one was supposed to be doing so with saddam. But you have a good point.
But if you are going to bring up genocide, how come we are not attacking Dufar? 70,000 people killed and yet nothing done about it. I think there is alot more that is going to be played out for the reasons for going into Iraq.

Funny how when Nazi's are goosestepping through the streets of Paris, the french liked Americans.
Now they despise us. To the French people who despise us, I say take a walk through the cemeterys in your country, and count the Americans that died, to save France. If you still feel the same way about America, then blow it out your a**.

I saw a new channel a few weeks ago that the government did ask other companys to bid on this work. Halliburton was the only one that could meet the demands at the short notice & fulfill all the requirements. They were the only bid recieved. But, Libs spin it as a No Contest Bid. Like it was just given with no questions asked.
My 2 cents.

We're not stepping into Dufar because we want the African Union to learn to fix there own problems. This is also the the UN stand or was a month ago when the Dufar was on every news channel & news paper. If others step in, it will show that the African Union can't handle situations themselves. Granted, it's not happening very fast.

FU*K the French. I think we should go to France and dig up ALL our buried military people and return them home. Give them a proper burial on home soil so they might rest in peace. They must be spinning in their graves for what assholes the French have become. After we dig up all our people leave the ground tore up and let those cheese eating surrender monkeys fill in the holes.

I wonder what the cost of something like this might be. I certainly wouldn't want to be left in Iraq. I like the idea. Are the cemetaries like this considered american soil?

This reminds me of what Colen Powell said when he was questioned by a reporter about our "occupation" of Iraq. He said approx (my memory sucks) "the only foreign land that is occupied by U.S. soldiers are cematarys in France". I wish I remembered the exact quote, but that was the basic drift....
