I left PHX at 4am to go back to L.A. and stopped to check my tire air to find it was 30lbs low! Since I have HD tires that max out at 80lbs psi they dont really show being low as much as normal tires. If you have a stock 3/4 ton truck odds are your tires are like mine. I think the reason they were so low was because of the recent 30 degree temperature change. Anyhow, get out your gauge.....

That is some good advice this time of year. I run 35's on my tow rig & I checked them on Sunday & they were all down about 15lbs.

Yeah, and try finding a "gas station" that has air capable of pumping 80psi :notam:
Maybe it's different in "truck stop" land but I haven't been able to find good air in socal proper!! That's why I check that chit before I leave the house.

My new Tahoe came with Tire Pressure Monitor sensors in the wheels. Now the cars can tell US when the pressures are out of whack. :D

Do you run the full 80psi in your tires or what?

Your right mirv, had to stop at Rip Griffins, my tire gauge uncle larry gave me doesnt even go that high so i had to buy a big rig one that goes to 135psi, since i also drive rigs from time to time it comes in handy.
