Alki-Seltzer Morning After. They work really good. The caffine perks you up and they soothes the stomach. Also, it doesn't taste bad coming back up. :D

My personal choice? Captain Morgans Private Stock and caffeine free Diet Coke, pop a couple of Tylenol before going to bed.
The sugar and caffeine in the regular Coke tends to give me headaches when drinking all day...

Pedialite and Excedrin always works well. Another thing you can get at GNC is a powder called Emergen-C. Take two and pour it in your water and it will cure any hangover. If all else fails, Bloody Mary.

First off... avoid the hangover.. if you drink... drink good booze... no Popov or cheap shiz... second... drink lots of water before going to sleep... at least a quart.... third... if you still have a hangover in the morning... a Bloody mary will do wonders... but you have to put tabasco,V-8.. Worchestershire... and celery... must have the celery...1/2 good vodka... 45 percent V-8... splash of tabasco.. balance Worchestershire... add celery to stir... oh... I almost forgot... lots of pepper.. and even some lemon pepper... yummy... and It really kills the hangover... give it about a half hour to kick in... don't drink more than two or you'll get sick... :hammer2:

Ditto on drinking water and good booze. Alcohol robs your body of oxygen and dehydrates you. Drinking lots of water puts all the good stuff back. If you are screwed up in the morning then a rockstar is great. Caffeine wakes you up and the vitamins help alot as well as this milk thistle stuff that helps your liver. Rockstar is the only energy drink I know that has it.
Serious though my wife is a Nurse and a brain surgeon told her that the tylenol thing is a myth and taking them when you are seriously drunk can kill you. He also gave her a list of vitamins that if taken before drinking or before bed or whatever will wake you up in the morning with no hangover. It was like b+ and b complex and something else. I think that's what's in those hangover pills. Also all that stuff is in the energy drinks. I just don't drink them before bed because then you won't sleep.

I also like grape Pedialite and menudo (yes, it does work, don't ask me why). Bloody Mary's are good and usually go down easy.
The other day I hear a Dr. on talk radio say that whenever you take a pain reliever (most any type he said), that if you also take in some caffiene via a soda or coffee - it amplifies the effectiveness of the pain medication. I know excedrin has caffiene in it already, maybe that's the reason why.

if anyone wants to know how to prevent a hangover I can tell ya. Take to multi-vitamins and a half a glass of water before you pass out and you wont have a hangover. Although you will still have those morning after shakes. Just thought Id pass it along. been tried and tested many of times. I use to own a GNC franchise so I have experimented with alot of remedies and thats been the best.

I have been there, done that when it comes to hangovers :( and this is what i like. :coffeycup
1. Alka selzer morning after works good
2. a bloody mary always does well
3. lots of water the duration of your drinking time (water, drink, water drink, etc) almost always guarantees no hang over
4. vitamin b comlex also has helped alot
5. take 4 advil and go back to sleep for a bit is awesome
6. greasy ass food (tommys, in-n-out, etc) before or after
7. menudo I heard helps, but I 've never done it. If it does work, it could be the magic ingredient that diferentiates menudo from soup, it has cow intestines in it !!!! :D yummm yummm get me sooome!!!
8. if you can somehow mix some of these together, you can pretty much get away with drinking a whole bottle of Thunderbird and not have a hangover, ok, not that far. But seriosly you snobby bastards saying drink grey goose :D we cant all drink like royalty so this is a great thread for us guys who can only afford charcoal filtered vodka and PBR !!!
