How much would 2 HP 500 carb motors completely rebuilt with CMI exhaust be worth? Could I get $10K for each?
They are Mercury racing HP500's. They are 502 C.I. carbureted motors. They are rated at 470HP
(The 500EFI is the newer model)

cpperformance wants around 10K each for long blocks.

Yes---I am looking to sell them. They are being rebuilt right now. I'm asking $11K for each motor with new CMI exhaust. A HP500 long block is $10K new.

just curious, who's doing the rebuild and what lead to it in the first place?
