That's who owns the "domainsbyproxy" business and their 2003, 2004 annual reports and stuff they have to file with the Corporation Commission in order to keep their business as a corporation.

If you own a web site why would you not want to go through a proxy? Why would anyone want EVERYONE in the entire world to know their home address and info?
Why don't you guys look up who owns the site in my sig and see what ya come up with? You won't come up with the address where I keep my inventory that's for sure.

Well it has been several months since I went through the ICANN (Internet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers) pubs, but I believe what they are doing is not in the rule book. I am fairly sure that the proper contact info has to be entered.. There are still other ways you could find out who owns the domain. Why don't you post the domain name?

www.mypolitician.com is not the same as .org. The .com site appears to be hosted by dsinetworks.com in the Boston or Caimbridge Ma area while the .org site is hosted by jomax.com in the Pheonix area.

Yeah, and they send me 5 junk faxes a day and I can't do anything about it since they are not in the US. :mad:
On the website - finding a site registered under proxy is like hitting a brick wall. Even with a subpena, the info is often not reliable and subject to different rules for disclosure.
And you can ping it all you want, but unless you get the cooperation of the ISP (not gonna happen), you're almost dead in the water.
The site is too new to try and find historical secondary info that could identify the owner.

You can do the whois search from this site WhoisXY.com (http://www.whoisxy.com/) and find the site owner easily.
