Would it be alright if I use Muriatic Acid to clean my SS Prop? It Seems very strong to use but it the only stuff that works good. I'll wash it off right away.

The acid may etch the surface of the SS.
Try plain vinegar first, let sit on it for a bit, then scrub with a green scotchbrite scrubby pad.
If you still have gunk on it, the acid may work, but use the weakest dilution (with water) that will get the job done.

Go to Bass Lake. Two days running in that nice water and it will be sparkly clean.

CLR maybe? A weak acid to dissolve the salts, and a bit of abrasive like soft scrub to polish it up should do it too. Bass lake works well though...

Try THE WORKS toilet cleaner strong as acid but you can leave it on for days and it wont hurt the prop

I like the Bass Lake idea. More time, but, less "work"...

lime away makes it shine like a babys ass :) another vote for limeaway which has muratic acid solution as a main ingredient - i could be wrong about that part but i know it works.

Vinegar if you wanna see how sharp your prop is.
CLR is also good for tough spots - real tough spots.
Trust me though - do not set the CLR bottle on your trailer step, truck or any other painted surface. Otherwise, you'll be on here next week asking where to buy touch-up paint.

Don't clean your prop...it just causes more prop slip.....meaning less mph per rpm.

Muratic acid works good, just dilute it to like 4:1 with water. Put in a 5-gal bucket and dip the prop for about 5 seconds...should do the trick.
Rinse with fresh water after.

Where do you get this Muratic Acid? I don't need to clean my prop, but the wheels that came with my trailer have some sort of Protectant on them. So some of the stuff is wearing off and there is crome wheels under what looks gray " some type of protectant". So I think I want to give this stuff a try and I will have shiny wheels. Its the only pic I have right now but my wheels are not shiny. WTF.

I used the Wipe Clean from Rex Marine to clean off the junk we had on our prop from Lake Elsinore.
