Considering buying an older 23 Sleekcraft in excellant condition and low hours.
I don't see much discussion about Sleekcraft.
I think I can buy it right is it a good boat by normal performance standards?

I have a 2001 Sleek Heritage, and love it. They have been building boats since before most of us were born. Known to be solid. Family friendly layouts. I have no complaints.

I think you will find a few loyal Sleekcrafters around Most people really like them. I have an older 1989 Enforcer 23.6 ft and we love it. Rides good handles good and it does ok on speed. Very heavy boat but built well.
Stock 454 bravo 1 does 57mph GPS.

I DIG IT

i have a couple of friends that have 28 sleeks and they have both owen them for several years. they are nice boat and what other people have said they are very soild boat. but the are also heavy. it all depends on what type of boating you do. sleeks are strong boats but depending on power there not the fastest. but that not always the most imporant. when it comes to a good all around good boat. sleekcraft is a great choice.

My buddy has a 1978 or 79 23' Sleekcraft . He's had it sense it was a year old . It is used on Mead all the time . With a built 350 I think he sees the mid 50's . I've been trying to buy it for over a year,as he now has a larger boat in a slip
