I found this link for a Holley upgrade for my 3310. Is this a worthwhile future upgrade for my marine application? Is there anything else I should add or change on my stock carb?

I did this last year on my late model stock car.
And yes if you know a carb guru tghat can help with the air bleeds than you should buy the metering blocks also.
They come anodized red with all the air bleeds as jets. Makes the entire
system (fuel/air) adjustible with jets. Took alittle tuning but the engine was much better on top and acc.
so buy the metering blocks, main body, and if yours is really old than buy the billit thottle plate assy. You can build a 1000.00 carb for under 400 bucks

I have converted the 3310 in my 68 Mustang with a built 390, and the 4150 in my 460 powered Advantage. I picked up WELL over 25hp in the boat, and enough in the Mustang where I can't put all the power it makes to the ground anymore. My advice is DO IT NOW! It's the best $100 you'll spend. One piece of advice, though. The Proform's don't have the passage for the vacuum advance port, so you'll have to adjust your timing, or lock it out. Of the 2, the 4150 (double pumper) was easier to set up than the 3310. Might have been the application, but the DP was dead on out of the box.

I've never used the Proform but a friend of mine did a conversion on his race car and it picked up big time, guess they are pretty badass, seems like a good deal for the $$$$$$$$$$$!..

Is there a difference between metering blocks? I have a couple extra carbs that I can part out if they can be of use. I have an extra 600 and a 650. Are the metering blocks swapable?

Billy, if you're talking about replacing the secondary plate on your 3310 you can use the secondary block off the carb that's on there now, just get the equivilant jet that matches your plate, the number is stamped on the plate!..

Yup. It's flowing somewhere around 830 cfm now. Best $100 bucks I've spent!
