Nice pics Larry. Yesterday was a great day for boating in Castaic, nice weather. Did Steve get a new boat, he's actually driving it. :D :D Man I kill me. Hope everything is cleared up and runnin good. Is it time to send the girls over to get a refund :D Lord knows I wouldn't want Diane , Steph , and Jen showing up on my doorstep pissed off :D

It didn't stop Steve from making the engine noises.. LOL! We could only cruise (25-35mph). So Steve had to fake the high speed pass noises!! :2purples:
The boat ran great, right up till the end. I got dropped off the at the dock to get the motor home and when I got back, they were getting help back to the dock.
I think there was a fuel tank switching snafu...
I think that little sprint will move out pretty good once he gets it all broken in.. :D

I was out there on Sunday.. They closed the lake 20 min before we got there.. I saw a guy that I have met over the years.. He has a yellow and red jet boat with NOS and always runs by him self.. (Phil).. We watched the dock for a few min.. Then headed down to Piru.. We got there.. it was just as bad.. but they were open..LOL>. so.. I figured.. Were out here.. Might as well go for a ride.. (piru is very small)
Got the boat on the water.. it was coming over the top of the deck.. I got it up on top of the water with 4 pretty big guys.. (One pushing 350+).. Went around the lake a few times.. The water was about 2' at least.. Phil came out with us... we got on top of the water going about 60or so.. Then I headed towards the wind and got them up to about 85-90.. I rode it a little wet.. Didn’t want one of those crazy waves to throw me up.. All and all.. it was better then sitting on the couch.. But we were only in the water for about 15 min..
Phil and I talked about your new motor 28sportcat.. I have not seen you guys in a long time.. I have been going to Parker where they are a little more friendly to High Performance Boats.. (No speed limit :smile: )..

Ive learned over the years.. No place where the snowbirds are likes loud boats.. You figure.. its winter time.. got the lake to myselfe.. NOPE>. they complain.. Even at the river.. its the same way.. got to go up on the lake to get away from the houses or campers on the water..

I haven't been to Castaic in a couple of months, but I'm glad I didn't go this day. I'm sure is was a S.O.B. to trailer your boat that day.
