I used to work at OCIR and the first round of fuel cars was the best, they would have two cars in the water and everyone would stand up for the national anthem, when it was done and the whole place was quiet they would hit the starters and fire the cars, followed by some kickass burnouts.

Aprox. 9 or 10 yrs. ago at about 2:30 am on the 91 frwy, I had crawled inside an overturned vehicle to assess and reassure the patients of a traffic collision, while my fellow workers were working to cut them out of the vehicle, when all I hear are the sounds of screetching tires and metal scraping on the concrete of the 91 frwy and shouts of look out,get out of the way, then deadly silence. The hair on the back of my neck was standing up,because I thought in those moments that I was going from rescuer to victim.
A drunk driver came upon the accident scene at a high rate of speed, locked up the brakes and then rolled his vehicle, which slid to within feet of the vehicle that I had crawled into.
Scarred the crap out of me.
I probably should not have posted this,my wife doesn't even know about this close call.
