I have a set of .030 over forged pistons I would like to use in my .020 over block. there is very minimal wear as I recently re-rung and the bore measured within tolerance. I have cast pistons now..Is there going to be enough left to bore? should It just be honed? how could this work?

Hone it on a Ck10. No sweat. Local machine shop deal.

thanks fiat... I really wanted to know as I was kinda worried it might be a hassle. thunder it's a very mild BBC kind of a test platform to see how much I can get H.P. wise without breaking the bank.

Fiat, is a Ck10 a type of machine? or is it a certain way of honing a block??

Sorry. I thought everone knew what a Ck10 was. A power honing machine made by Sunnen for resizing and refinishing cylinders. Also other models such as Cv 616. But they all do the same thing.
