It's cause they don't all declare a state as being carried by a candidate at the same time. For example, NBC still shows FL undecided, while other news sites declared it as being taken by Bush. That state alone is 27 electoral votes. Ohio is the other biggie everyone's watching now! :)

It appears to be over, sooner than most believed. Can't understand why our governator couldn't deliver CA to the republicans. In my crowd, I don't know a democrat. And we know how the OC goes, there's a lot of good old Birchers down there. Well, even if GW shot himself in the foot so many times, now he has the chance to pull it out over the next four years. Now we have to groom another good republican for 2008 to run against the wife of you know who...

I liked McCain too, four year ago. I don't think he's got the personality to run in 08 (and the health). We've got a long time for someone to come out of the woodwork. OOPS, Ohio just went back to undecided...

You're probably right. They just interviewed McCain on tv and he said that he isn't considering running in 08 yet, but that it wasn't out of the question. If Nixon could do it...

The only problem I see with McCain, other than his addict wife, is the fact that he spent quite a bit of time early on as a POW hanging out with Kerry and promoting his campaign... That might just come back to haunt him.

Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose. Is it just me, or do government sponsered social programs, seem like a way to buy votes. I think if you are accepting financial aid from government programs, you should not be allowed to vote.

Yes, Rudy G might make a good candidate to run against Bill's wife. But I don't see an all New York race. We've got plenty of time to find some good people. And consider how the world will change in four years. We could be fighting North Koreans (again) by then. I'm a semi-isolationist, I think we should help other country's, but not be the worlds policemen. We have a poor record of throwing money at the wrong people (dictators). There are too many of us here who could use a little help

MagicMtnDan
11-03-2004, 08:32 AM
Let's enjoy the four more years of Bush (as soon as Kerry concedes!) first.
Then we can worry about the next race. Personally I think Rudy Giuliani could win an election in an overwhelming fashion - he's a very moderate Republican who can easily appeal to many Democrats. But that's a subject for another day.
Hey Kerry, turn out the lights the party's over!
