CNN has given California to Kerry 11 min after voting closed. Only ONE county has reported so far (santa cruz) and it's a hippy village :yuk:

When is the last time Cali went to a Republican? I'm young, but I would say it's a safe call to give it to Kerry. I nearly voted Green just to show my disgust.

i agree, Kerry is going to probably win CA :frown: , but cmon... less than 1% of votes in, and they've called it :yuk: ??
Florida has 95% of votes in, Bush up 54% to 45% for Kerry and still have it listed undecided
BJH

New example... Florida
Currently 96% in.
Bush- 3,562,734
Kerry- 3,239,441
Nader- 30,057
Others-26,879
If you add All of the votes currently in you get 6,859,111 counted votes.
if x is the total number of votes, and 6,859,111 is 96% of them
6,859,111 / .96 will give total votes which is 7,144,908 (really a fraction, but i rounded up)
If you take the total votes (7,144,908) and subtract the counted votes(6,859,111), you get the uncounted votes (285,797)
If Kerry gets every single one of those votes (not likely) he will end up with 3,239,441 + 285,797 = 3,525,238 votes, still less than GWB currently has. why not call Florida??
GRRRRRRRRR  :burningm:

Because then you would stop watching, they've got lots of news crews and reporters in Florida it is big drama, they don't want to call it quits there yet. They called other states for bush with very little of the vote in as well, and they are basing the calls more so on the exit polling. Georgia was one of the first states to report, and for Bush I might add, so we pulled our weight. Looking at the split between the northeast and the southeast I'm starting to think that these guys down here had the right idea with the civil war :D

CNN is getting a little sad to watch right now. To see Carville and the dems try to keep a stiff upper lip and start making excuses...
Not celebrating yet however

The Commie network is showing 249 to 211.
Fox is showing 269 to 211.
C'mon. :D
Oh, and with 92% 250K are supposed to push Skerry over the top. Even though Bush is up by 100K right now. One E.V. is all we need. C'mon.

The real crybabies are again calling out their droves of lawyers so they can "contest" Ohio. What a sad bunch. The world will shake it collective head in disbelief again and the stock market will again tank from the uncertainty. It's a good thing we've got the democrats looking out for us Americans, yeah right.

Yeah, they want to make sure that they are on the side of the working class, that is the people that work for, and have a couple monies, and make sure that they give them to the grasshoppers that don't have the money. :hammer2:
OLD VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building His house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and dances and plays The summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!
=================================================
MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building His house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and dances and plays The summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and Demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well-fed while others are cold and starving.
CBS, NBC, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in A country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and Everybody cries when they sing, "It's Not Easy Being Green."
Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house Where the news stations film the group singing "We Shall Overcome." Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.
Tom Daschle and John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Peter Jennings that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his "fair share."
Finally, the EEOC drafts the "Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper Act," retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a Defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients.
The ant loses the case.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits Of the ant's food while his new government house, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Vote Republican.

Its 6:32AM and George Steponallofus is still holding out hope that 100% of the provisional ballots in Ohio will go to Kerry giving him the presidency. Kerry is still saying "We will fight for every vote" Hang it up...Its all over....Go away Kerry!!!

I love it.
CNN:
Bush: 254
Kerry: 252
Fox News:
Bush: 269
Kerry: 242
Just a little bit of difference there. Oh, and every one of those votes in Ohio is going to be for Skerry... yeah right. I find it disappointing that the race is as close as it is. Guess there are just more people out there with their heads up their asses that was ever imagined before... Why anyone would vote for Skerry is just beyond me. That guy scares the shit out of me and should scare anyone with a boat, quad, dirtbike, lawnmower, business, job, truck, house, and even a pulse and half of a brain.

Not to mention Kerry got trounced in the popular vote, even if every provisional ballot in Ohio is valid and is for Kerry (yeah right). Even as late as last night I still heard liberals whining about GW not being elected by the will of the people. Now that he has they are still complaining. Personally I think this makes us look like a bunch of limp wristed pussies to the rest of the world, divided and not even being able to decide an election without lawyers getting involved. No wonder the terrorists think we are easy prey. Most people with any dignity and honor would concede in the face of these odds. But Kerry as usual can't make up his ****ing mind and is waiting until they can take a poll on what to do.
