I was out walking with my then 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I asked her not to do that.
"Why? Because it's been lying outside and it is dirty and probably has germs."
At this point, she looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?"
"Uh," I was thinking quickly, "...all moms know this stuff. Um, it's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy."
We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information.
"OH...I get it!" she beamed. "So if you flunk, you have to be the Daddy."

I thought I was getting one over on Mom in H.S. 10 years later, at a T-Day Family meal... somehow we got on the subject of Marajuna and Mom spouted off.. " and I know you kept yours in your gym bag in the side pocket.. "

You should know the difference between eating something off the ground and dropping something that your eating on the ground. If your eating something an drop it, there is a 3 second rule and it fair game. Just picking up any old thing and eating it, Well thats another story. :)

I got caught for the marijuana growing in the back yard.
I got caught after boinking my g/f when my mom came home early.
They know I dented the old Chevy.
Even found the quarters I lifted from my dad's change pile.
The neighbors busted me for the 3 keg party I had when they were in Italy.
They figured out the broken windows, the holes in walls, and the .25 auto I kept.
But they still loved me. :cool: I miss them. :frown:

I'm still trying to convince my daughter (12) that mom's know everything, but she's not buyin'. It'll only get worse in the next couple of years. :p Now my son? He thinks I know more than God. LOL
