The lancaster was the #1 British bomber.
Very good ariplane.
They bombed the Germans at night while we bombed during the daytime.

The Lancaster was a bomber the Brits produced, the one "The Dam Busters SQD" used to blow up the german dams and halt production and slowing their war effort.

Dr. the whole Dam Busters story is awesome and those guys had balls!!!
All the AAC that went off, plus night flying without the technology we have today and at treetop, or wave top just to get to the targets was amazing. They lost alot of great men during the raids, but it paid off. The Germans were screwed all the factories used Hydroelectric power, no dams no power

Yeah the whole story was amazing. Sir Barnes Wallace that came up with the concept for how to make it all work. The idea of using two spotlights on the bottom of the plane to set altitude at 60 feet (as I recall)... the courage was amazing.

if some of you moved to the 909 or 951 you could afford a bigger boat. Alot of the new houses here are being built with boat deep garages and we are closer to the river, vegas and for you golfers Palm Springs. We also have Indian casinos. One day you will figure it out. Plus we have Beaumont. enuf said.
