James if you use your boat mostly at the river it's the best thing to do. Less towing alone is worth it.

I do use it mostly at the river. I just like keeping it close by for that last minute run to Elsinore or elsewhere. But if I'm going to be saving a c-note a month then F elsinore.

All kidding aside, how does your insurance feel about that? Is the garage alarmed? I'm gonna have several empty bays out there myself in 12 months or so.
$135 a month a Campbell Boats. 12x30 with full service dept on hand and they will put it away for you if you want (I don't use that service but, hey it's there) And 24 hour on site security.

Free, I store it on my bro in-laws property, not a fancy garage, one of those portables, I have three covers on the boat itself plus the canopy, bring it home every other weekend just to wash it, my wife calls me anal, I say I'm passionate...

Insurance loves it actually. 24 hour security system including heat sensor (fire), smoke detectors, motion detector - all wired to the monitored alarm system also connected to the phone line so I can remotely monitor everything. The only item it doesn't have a video camera.

I've got the same setup as E502 and the insurance loves it that way.

Not in the nice places...the beat up places that are small cost less...I just got rid of a 12x30 at Affordable in Big River that was $80 a month...now that was a good deal cause it was a newer place....but you won't stuff that cheap longer than 35'...
I did tell them I knew some Parker All Stars...did not seem to help much :D ....I did know the folks that own the place though, so I jumped in front of a 2 year waiting list.

I know I was just giving you some shiz. Seems like parker is making a killing on these rental units.
Lets mutliply what your paying a month by 12, that total by 50 (the aprox # of units) :2purples: Thats easy money! The land lease & liabilty can not be that much, and it's 0 maintance. Fock, time to make some storage units, and low ball everyone for the first year!

There is a couple of locations that I think would be great, just dont have the assets to back it, and look into it. :(

Little less than $400.....but it comes with 2 bed and 2 bath, an extra garage and room for the dogs. Proabably save more than that in towing fuel expense if I had to take it back/forth every time. :rollside:
Oh, and not having to pack any clothes or shit is a huge plus too. :p

I think DJ has been there for a while cause from what I remember just a year ago it was at least in the 165-195 range for a 26' boat....this is a big warehouse where they charge you by the length of your boat...it is actually a really nice place with nice services to boot...sorry, I don't have the number off hand..
