Registation for out of state is more in AZ than a resident in CA pays here. You save by not paying the property tax our frugal government levies on boats in CA.

Yeah..........no stinking property taxes!@$#% I don't own a boat yet, but the wonderful state of CALI gets me for over $350.00 a year for 3 jet skii's. I'd hate to see what a boat would cost...... :notam: I'll be registering the boat when I get in AZ. One of AZ requirements to register in AZ is that you use the boat in AZ waters 51% of the time. :D

Yeah cali reg. is only 10 bucks for two years but you will be taxed up the wazoo. It is 1%. I would imagine Jdogg spent 35 k on his three ski's and trailer and everything. drop 60k on a boat and you will pay a nice 600 bucks a year. Out of state az registration goes by the resident rate plus an extra like 5 dollar fee and then a certain amount for each foot in length. I have a 24 footer and it's like 110 a year or something. Not 10 bucks for two years but I'm not giving cali 600 bucks a year.
