'Sukr,
The block number you have given is actually the stamped number on the engine number pad that decodes the vehicle it came in. Looks like a 1975 motor vehicle.
The actual casted engineering revision of the cylinder block is on the passenger-side of the engine, behind the starter motor and reads vertically. I suspect that block is of the D1VE variety but verify this before purchase.
If it is a D1VE-type block with D3VE-A2A heads and is complete, then for $175 it will serve well for your intended 450HP build. I am assuming that this is a running engine, or was "pulled running."
The early-style heads (C8VE, C9VE & D0VE) are preferred by many over the D3VE's, but rest assured that with the propper rubbing, D3VE's can support as much as 650HP in a normally aspirated stroker engine. Indeed, some grinding is required (as would be need of the D0VE's).
Although you will be buying an entire BBF, the block, crank, rods and heads are what you need for your build. Pistons, cam, chain, carb, intake and oil pan will be the typical components changed for your intended application (among others).
If you still have time and are patient, a continued search for a 1968-1971 engine would net you somewhat better heads. Of course, these can also be purchased seperately if needed.
A $175 deal for a whole engine is not to be overlooked.

Just remember the cost of machining. It can get expencive. I have a block in NC that would work perfectly for you and is ready to use. $400 !!! It is only an hour away from you.
