Been a looooooong time since I've been on a jet boat (I don't consider my old F-16 a "real" jet boat). Sounds like fun to me.

Yes tucked away. We got some snow this morning. just north of me they got over 6 inches. Time to break out the Snowmobiles! In april I drove out to Kentucky to look at a Top Gun, but I ended up flying down and purchasing a 38 Top Gun in florida. What a drive down and back!

Yes, I left Saratoga, NY after work at 7pm on wednesday. Got to Ft. Lauderdale at 4pm Thurday (21 hrs). Got dinner and a room and headed to the dealer at 8am. Took care of the final paperwork and went over the boat. Left at 4pm Friday and wanted to get home for a Party for my family Saturday evening. Plus Sunday was mothers day and I definitely wanted to be home for that. I stopped on the way home (with boat in tow) at the party at 6pm on Saturday (26 hrs). Visited for a while and stoped at my parents to pick up my Lab and went home to put the boat in the garage and crashed in bed. I did all the driving myself and was a little tired. :D

If I had one sure, but I have a very small house in a very high demand neighborhood. Not willin to trade my 5 min commute for a 20 minute commute. If I moved 15 to 20 more minutes from my house I could triple the house I live in. Am I stupid?? :D

There is one right next door to the one I'm buying for $325k. Can't buy a outhouse here for that. Here is a pic of the one I'm buying. Right across from the street from Lake Hickory.

Get your butts out here i'm sure the HB family will take care of ya, besides there's always the Beaumont crew that 'll be happy to induct you into their sidewalk of fame, it is just a couple feet long but there are some famous names and er um prints in the concrete there.

Ah yes, there is a couple of good things about living in the South. Cost of living is pretty low. Very nice place. Prob $1,500,000 in Cali?? :D

Actually I do have a guest house. It is nothing special, but it is comfortable. I bought the house on Sacandaga Lake as last minute thing. I was actually looking for a summer place/camp on the lake, but stumbled on to this place. It has 25 acres and a guest house that is down by the road that is out of my sight (which might be a good thing for you :) ) So I sold my house and moved up here. Glad I did. Everyday when I get home I am on vacation. My commute is 55 miles one way, but I guess you have to take the good with the bad. If anyone is ever inthe area let me know. Be glad to take you out on the boat (provided the water isn't frozen)

Your new house looks awesome. When I move there I wont need anything that elaborate, my kids are nearly gone so I'm guessing I'll only need about 2500 sq. ft, half for the wife and the other half for my girlfriend... :D :D
Of course the garage will have to be extra deep for all the toys...

Good luck finding a deep garage. You'll have to buy a place with a "barn". If you're only lookin for 2,500 sp ft, that will be easy and cheap.

You would do fine in Nashville, maybe in Knoxville but not in Chattanooga. Not alot of new businesses locating here and not alot of mfg still left in the city. Nashville is booming!! Looking from the outside that would be my pick. I would rather live in the Nooga but if jobs are a concern then go with Nashville.
