What is the proper form for advertising an item that one has for sale on the HB forums?
I've seen all sorts of threads ranging from blatant whoring to passive mentioning.
Should one include the word "SPAM" in the thread title?
Just curious. Thanks.

Case by Case basis.. LOL :D
I'm not sure if it'd be considered "proper etiquette" for me to Spam my billet stuff on here, especially considering that there's advertisers paying money selling competitive products etc.. but on the flip side if I come out with something new and I think it's cool then I like to show people too..
Something I've been kinda debating for awile now. I just came out with some pretty cool stuff, but I'm hesitant to throw a thread up about it becuase I don't want it to be taken the wrong way etc..

***boat has noted that there is a classified section for posting items for sale.
Others have suggested to simply have the classified section here in the forums (along with the rest of the topics) so as to help eliminate the spamming inside other discussion topics...

Toby--shut up and go around! by the way--I got the dirt on you air traffic
guys--stepson that's in Qatar and in and out of Baghdad 3 times a week lives with an Air Traffic Controller. I know your game now! As for Spam, I think
that you should mention the 4 letter "S" word in the title to save those not
wanting to be bothered from being bothered. But that's merely my opinion.
River Dave--throw me an email or a pm or something about your billet stuff.
Hope that all is well with you.

I say if an individual has something they are trying to sell, post away, indicate spam, and those that don't want to be bothered will ignore the post. Some may disagree, but seeing the spam doesn't bother me.

Send me alot of your trick new billet stuff, i'll "test" it, and do the spam for you... no need to tarnish your _______ (fill in the blank yourself) Name.
I like the "SPAM" in the headline rule and a description of what it is.

Noone seems to use the HB Classifieds due to the fact you would have to subscribe to the website, my guess is that they are reluctant to give us(Forum Members) a forum to sell our stuff, until then the "S" word followed by a description seems to be working.
C'mon they allow us to link to our websites and to videos and just about everything else...
