Yikes, I didn't see it, but I saw the promo where the host drops a big black and white rat into a blender! (Even though the contestants probably sign all kinds of disclaimers, I'm still surprised the network lawyers let the contestants eat rats! :))

Monday are our "Fear Factor" family nights. Everyone grabs a bowl of ice cream and we get grossed out.

I filled in on that show in the first season as a medic. After one filming i made the mistake of asking if I could eat one of the beetles the contestants ate. After I had already powered it down a couple of pa's come running over with a sound tech and a mic so they can record it for the sound byte..........ended up having to eat another one so they could get the recording. I can still taste it to this day. :yuk:

One of my Daughter's friends , her brother works on the show , he's the lucky guy who tastes all the "food" stunts, CAST FREAKIN Iron stomach, a well paid guinea pig. Bastard still owes me some shirts.... he evn makes some of them up just to gross the producers out, he's done it a few times... MikeVG

Ever notice that they never ever will show someone actually throwing up, the network will not allow it, and you never see Mr. tough guy Joe Rogan ever gettin sick, must be nice to edit out the fact that your a poussay when they hurl he's right behind them....
I'd LOVE to Rogan at least try some of the stuff!!

Everytime I watch the show it makes me cringe! I give the contestants a ton of credit for doing what they do. I don't think I could try any of those food stunts for $50k.
