DCB could do that sh*t in place of zip ties and charge extra for it calling it the "Vintage circa look" although the traditional semi flat colored duct tape would have to be chrome plated or maybe anodized.

1975, I was 5yrs old cruising around the needles area with my parents learning how to waterski. i wander if tthey ever crossed paths. very cool pics. thanks for sharing. brings back fun memories.

That very first pic, I see that the boat is hooked up to a wagon...our family had one of those in the mid 70's....It was our River Cruiser at Castle Rock when they allowed regular trailers. Man, now I'm gonna have to dig through my box and post some old ones of mine!!!

I believe that is a dry sump tank. The fuel tank is visible at the rear of the boat. Notice the vent tube. :rollside:

Sweet pics! These remind me of learning to ski behind my uncle's jet boat at Lake Nacimiento. He towed it with a bright orange custom van lined with shag carpet, lol.
Yes, the good old days... I bet if you did this with your kid today, the safety police would put you in jail, impose a huge fine, and place your kid in child protection services. :rolleyes:

What great pictures! The flatbottom looks like by brothers, but new and much nicer! It is always great seeing the old stuff out there, makes me reminise of my babyhood! All I have to remember that stuff (The 70's) is pics, thanks for sharing w/ us!

He let go of the rope and was beach landing...My parents told me he use to ski with a waist belt and rope attatchment.

god those pics bring back memories. my dad had a 18 ft glassbar.spent lots of time beach camping on mead.thats before bottled water.we drank from the middle of the lake if you can believe that.
