Usually this time of year everything is yellow, orange, red, green. The rain just did not work for us this year. Even with the hurricanes.

Usually this time of year everything is yellow, orange, red, green. The rain just did not work for us this year. Even with the hurricanes.
Yeah and at this time of the year around our river its...uh BROWN yeah just like the rest of the year....BROWN :jawdrop: :D

"Prop Check" So that term is universal, eh... That is why the Happy Chappy has an enclosed pumpout head. It's chilly but not freezing. Our lakes / rivers don't ever freeze around here. Probably gets as cold a 50 or so. The water that is.

Funny you should say that. Many men died on that mountain during the Civil War. There are monuments and historical sites all over that mountain. And they turn Ruby Falls into the Hauntetd Coverns during Halloween.
The building you see way off in the distance is Covenant Colledge. Very expensive, private, Christian Colledge.

The boat pictures were taken on the Nickajack Lake stretch of the TN River. That is the stretch that runs through downtown Nooga and on the Jasper. When you're coming in to Chattanooga from Nashville on 24, you go across the river at Jasper and around the base of Lookout Mtn which is the 2nd set of pics. The pic of me and Mrs RiverOtter was at Gulfplace in Blue Mountain Beach which is between Destin and Seaside Beach.

Did you see the APBA is racing coming to Chattanooga in October '05?!?! Can't friggin wait!!! They are going to have an 80 mile course with 5 mile loops and best of all Kilo Runs. :cool: :cool:

I will be there for sure...hopefully not in my beginner sled either. Tho it was nice to smoke eveyone. And hanging out with Hainsworth(sp) from the Titans was cool too.

I think I'll sign up as a volunteer maybe get a ride. They took the city and county mayors out for 120mph runs on Chickamauga Lake. I was sooooooo jealous!! :burningm: :D

When you get a minute go to the APBA website and look at the Chattanooga stuff. It will be awsome. Looks like they will be racing through downtown under the bridges right in front of the Aquarium.

2 boys (Thanks The Good Lord) - 7 and 9 end of this month. 22 mos apart. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Great pics. I recognize that lake from my trips on I24 from Ga to Illinois. We've got a little more color here in GA but not much, usually it is much more vibrant than this.

Beautiful pic 572. We have basically NO color other than green and brown. I was in Brasstown Valley 2 weeks ago and they had lots of color.
