Fathers Stevens Flatbottom...Talked to him today and he said that the Cavitation plate was electric! The guy who he bought it from had used a electric window motor to move the plate. He said it worked well but was ugly as sin.

That pic of the island is amazing. Is the Naked Turtle on the peninsula at the lower right corner?

I remember those days well. I have my grandpa to thank for introducing Havasu to me. Its one reason why I like Havasu Landing Resort. It hasnt overgrown like Havasu City. I still feel like the old days over there.. (to an extent) . The same ol' desert is out there and the same tracks I drove my dune buggy in are still there.
Nice pics!

No problem Guys...I just wish things could go back to that era. When the river was high, the lake lice where not invened, and if u saw more than 10 boats on the water it was a holiday.

could be a patterson but looks like a Rayson Craft to me.
Hey rvrpig, ask Jimbo if he remembers Max Kelley. He did alot of race cars stuff for Chuck McConnell, who I think was Jim's dad. I could be wrong though.
