Does anyone on the boards own the lavey 27'sabre?I just want to know how it rides in bad water. What kind of mph your getting with what motor.I really like the looks of the boat and have heard good things about dealing with lavey.I just need some info on the performance.

my brother owns a lavey and swears by it. its not the sabre but after talking to those guys at lavey as well as others they are nice. they build a solid hull and have nice gel work. with the 525sc it runs in the 80's from what i remember. talk with rick hartman at the store and he'll set you up. very nice guy and a strait shooter.
or just go get a daytona :D :D :D

Thanks for the info.I was also there today checking out there new deck boat plug.It looks great. They have a 2003 sabre with a 575 in the showroom for sale that is real nice.Andy seems like a stand up guy,He is going to work out some numbers on the sabre and my trade in.Maybe it will workout.I still might want to go the deck boat route.

A lavey deck boat? SWEET!! I want to see some pics. Is it in the plug mode or actually in production?? Someone needs to flash some pics?? Lakeman- I really like the looks of the 27 sabre-- I thinks its a sweet looking boat! 575 Package on that seems to be the way to go--90 MPH on every test I've seen!

Boatnam2:I went by about 12:30,I also think the deck boat will sell very good. There is not much out there to pick from.I hope Andy can work out some good numbers on the 27 sabre,The price is a bit high and the boat has been used a little.

lavey's calling that boat a 28' deck boat.
lakeman i have a friend who has a 27 saber with a blown 509 with a 1071 and he's had it up to about 107.I feel the boat should have more top end. He runs about 900 horses.that boat will blow any other 25' to 27' single motor boat out of the water in big chop only.
