The Frosty Ball is going to be held here in Brookville, PA. As usual we're doing this after the Christmas holiday frenzy. I was thinking of January 15th, but last year we had it on January 31st, and that might be better. I have worked out a group deal with the local Holiday Inn Express at $68/ night located less than 2 miles from the house. And they have a great cancellation policy. You can cancel reservations up until 6pm of the night you are checking in. :D There are 2 things I would like to know. Who is interrested in coming, and what time frame (Jan/ Feb) works best for you? You don't need to commit to anything right now, I'm just looking to see how many are interrested. Thanks.

Any possibility of working out a more "central" location for all of us?
Central Pennysylvania in January sounds a little "undoable" to me.
I guess in our case, it would depend on the weather and road conditions,
although Beverly and I would love to be there!

Of course its dinner and drinks. :D We will take care of all the food stuff and the BOTE Bar is sitting right here in the dining room waiting for action.
For the brave at heart, tubing and sleding should be plentiful. I have a nice hill right here at the house. You'll have the speed and with a decent ramp, you should be able to jump the street, make it to the property across the road and possibly to the river. ;)
Last year was the central location for the masses. This year its being held up here. We are just below the snow belt. During a normal season, we usually get a couple inches of snow and its gone within 2-3 days. Last year was a different situation. We do this in January because when you take into consideration all of the Christmas parties that you or your spouse/ significant other may have to go to, there isn't enough time to fit in a weekend trip for something like this. For instance, you figure your spouse's/ significant other's work Christmas party is on the 11th, and your companys party is on the 18th, well then the next weekend is Christmas and the weekend after is New Years, there isn't enough time to fit this in. This places enough time for people to unwind from the holiday season, get together and look forward to spring, Anna, and a new boating season.
