Delta hooky day video clip

I finally got the video clip posted that delta rat took of my first run down the main channel on hooky day. Unfortunately we didn't get a video clip of the 137.7 mph run on the juice later that day. The file is almost 4 meg in size.

Thanks guys. Yeah Phil, I love that sound too, but that's no Honda Civic engine. It's their high end Acura engine running at 6,400 RPM. Wish I could hear it on the bottle when it jumped up to 6,800 on the juice. :D
I have heard that a 4-5/8" stroke big block spinning 6700 RPM has about the same piston speed as a small block spinning at 9,000 RPM. It's amazing that this motor stays in one piece at that RPM. Thank you DNE.

Unfortunatly from were I was standing on the island when you made that 137.7 mile a hour pass I didn't have an angle to video from. But I can attest to the fact than when Keith hit that juice the sound of that motor gave me goose bumps. The only video that would give that noise justice would have to be taken from the passenger seat....... if someone with that big of a grin on there face could rember to take to video.

Your boat is the only one I have ever heard that sounds like that. You have an awesome piece of machinery. Great video. and yes all I could say was holy shit on the pass when you hit the juice.

Guilty as charged! That was me with the big grin .My battery was dead on my mini DV player so all I could do is hold my GPS and grin like never before! :supp: :jawdrop: :eek:

Rock-it, thank you for sending the DVD and the video tape. My computer couldn't read the DVD for some reason and I don't know how to convert the VCR tape to a digital format to post it. :(

I am sorry Brian thats not how I wanted that to come across at all. If anything I am more jelous than you are guilty, but that motor just sounded so sweet I dont think anyone would have been able to do anything but GRIN.
