It is very neat and clean with very little wear and tear.
Unfortunately, we are at a point in our lives where we are looking at property to invest in, therefore, the toys must go for a short (I hope :) ) period of time.
I'm asking $61,000, but realistically I would take no less than $56,000. It's not in the trader or any other publications until springtime.
PM me if you have any questions.
Thanks.

Very clean ride, you might want to run it in the trader at the (run it tell it sells) add. Looks like it should go quick, good luck.

Thanks guys and girls.
I will run an ad in the trader staring in early December probably.
I have a few boat salespersons with all the info (one in Cali, Havi, and Phoenix), so the word is slowing getting out.

Is that the boat you were on during our latest Shockwave regatta? WTF was that all about anyhow....lol
Yes, it was. He was attempting to make a statement. You know, something about a big ole 34 foot mold not having some big baby's boat in it...blah, blah, blah. It's all about me BD hung out on our boat that Regatta weekend! Happy to have him and his family!
Now that I'll be boatless, he'll have to return the favor....again and again and again! I've got crisp $100 bills ready for the fuel! :D

A great buy.

Maybe someday, but for now, it's 1 acre horse property, custom house, landscaping, pool, horse stalls, detached 45x30 garage, you know...wifey stuff.
I mumble this to myself several times a day..."I do love her."

detached 45x30 garage, you know...wifey stuff.
45x30 garage sounds like man land to me. You know, pool table, keg-o-rator, brass fire pole ;) , flat screen TV... and I'd shoot for 40 x 80. :D

Chris........I understand, I do! :D
Jordy........you can come to the party. You'll probably be the only one there, the only one willing to travel out to Queen Creek land. :D Brass fire pole....hmmmmm...maybe I can convince the wife it's somehow related to horses. :D

What speeds are you seeing

PHX ATC

What speeds are you seeing
To be honest, I've seen on the speedo, 74, with a wee bit (I mean tiny bit) of throttle left (maybe 1/8"), 4500 rpm on the tach, so maybe 150-250 more rpm, and plenty of trim left to give it.
That was with my wife, me, 1/2 tank of fuel on both sides, flat water, February air (65ish).
My wife started getting that "look" in her eye, so I slowed her down (the boat) and cruised.
It will fly along the water at a quick clip, there's no doubt. I've never had it WOT, trimmed up, to really see how fast it will go. I'm not that experienced a boater and get giddy myself when I go that fast (I know.... :hammerhea ) and haven't had that big of a need for it.
It will outrun lots of boats, but then again, there's just the same amount that can outrun me.

Essex502
01-19-2005, 09:18 AM
That speed may be a little off...the web based prop calculator says you'd be spinnin' the motor at over 5400 RPM with 10% slip or 5050 RPM with 3% slip to see that speed. Speedos are notoriously inaccurate.
See this: http://www.rbbi.com/folders/prop/propcalc.htm

PHX ATC
01-20-2005, 11:46 AM
You know, that was over 1 1/2 years ago that I did that, so maybe the rpm was 5400ish, I dunno. Whatever, the speedo said 74ish, there was a teensy bit of throttle left (maybe just linkage play and no more ooomph), and lots of trim left. I might be dyslexic...5 out of 3 air traffic controllers are you know. :rollside:
It's fast, but that's not all there is to my boating experience.
Gee golly wizz, my man Kilrtoy asked a question and I answer it to the best of my ability. I think most people know how fast a Nordic 25 Rage is with the 496HO in it. I stand corrected and I'm horribly sorry, your highness.
I's jus trying to sell da boat sir.
You can come for a ride anytime you want to and check out the tach, speedo, GPS, my wife's leering looks and the corresponding head slap whenever you wish.

No offense intended just pointing out to the uninitiated that speedos are notoriously inaccurate - hence the use of GPS and Radar - you know how accurate that is right? :D The 496HO prolly (sp) has a 5050 or 5100 RPM rev limiter on it. 70 is believable day in and day out - hot and cold.
Not trying to berate a very nice boat!

You'll see an honest 70+ and that's fast enough for most folks!

Thanks Dave. You da man!
I think the weather's still a little gloomy for folks to think about buying a boat. I would hate to shop for a boat if I'm not in the mood to have a sunny day at the lake.
It'll pop here in a month or so. :)
